It is
the ideal starting point for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and
for exciting trekking tours in the summer. Winter sport-vacation taking
part of the Marcialonga, the Sellaronda, the Dolomites Marathon, the Pizolada
and the Scufonada. In the summer, on the other side, mountainbike events
like the Day on a Bike, the run with the Skyrace, the Traslaval, the Uppa,
the Up and Down of the Marmolada and the Contrin Trophy. Moreover, every
year here takes place the National Hockey Championship, the European Alpinski
Cup and the Skicross Worldchampionship.
